Samsung Galaxy Note 20 launch: How to watch it live in Malaysia

In one of the most hotly-anticipated launches of the year, Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy Note 20 during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event today. After months of leaks and rumours, the Korean company will finally unveil the latest iteration of the Galaxy Note, along with a few other devices.

The launch event, to be held on the 5th of August 2020 at 10pm (MYT), will have all the information you’ve been waiting for, along with announcements on the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3.

If you’re keen to watch the live stream, you can do so by heading over to Samsung’s official website or by watching on Samsung’s official YouTube channel. Meanwhile, you can register your interest in the Note 20 ahead of time by clicking here.

So, what do we know so far? Quite a bit, if leaks are to be believed. Two models are expected to be available: the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. We’re also expecting to see an Exynos 990 under the hood for the Malaysian variant, with U.S. users to get a Snapdragon 865+ SoC—just like previous releases.

The larger Ultra will get a 6.9″ Dynamic AMOLED dual-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the standard Note 20’s smaller 6.7″ Full HD+ display only has a watered down 60Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, we’ll also be seeing an upgraded S Pen which should be even more responsive when writing, while a 108MP main camera will be featured on the Ultra variant of the Note 20—just like the S20 series. This means that the Ultra will have 50x Space Zoom, although the standard Note 20 will only be able to do 30x.

Other specs to note include a 4,500mAh battery for the Note 20 Ultra (4,300 for the standard Note 20), along with 5G support across the board.

We’ve also extensively covered leaks for the Galaxy Watch 3, which will have a physical rotating bezel (yay!), along with Samsung’s first ANC-enabled model in the Galaxy Buds lineup. Perhaps most interestingly, we’re also set to see a second generation of the Galaxy Fold: the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

As always, we’ll be covering the Galaxy Unpacked event and all device launches in their full glory, so remember to come back to SoyaCincau.com for everything you need to know—and more.
