Latest fuel price: RON95 and RON97 down 4 sen, diesel down 5 sen

Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance has announced lower petrol and diesel prices for the coming week. RON95 and RON97 will be cheaper by 4 sen per litre while the price of Diesel drops by 5 sen per litre.

Below are the fuel prices for the period between 25th to 31st July 2020:

RON95 – RM1.68/litre (-4 sen)
RON97 – RM1.98/litre (-4 sen)
Diesel – RM1.82/litre (-5 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.92/litre (-5 sen)

Malaysia is using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) with prices being set on a weekly basis. According to the Ministry of Finance, the drop of fuel prices reflects the changes in the pricing of refined oil products in line with the current global crude oil prices.
