Lee Chong Wei is probably the first Malaysian to own the Oppo Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition

Malaysia’s Badminton legend Datuk Lee Chong Wei has just gotten his hands on a very exclusive flagship phone. As shared on his Facebook page, he has unboxed the Oppo Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition and he’s probably first to get it in Malaysia.

This is Oppo’s second Lamborghini edition device following the release of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition back in 2018. For the new edition, it is based on the current Oppo Find X2 Pro flagship that runs on a Snapdragon 865 processor and it also supports a blazing-fast 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging.

The device was announced in China sometime in March with a retail price of CNY 12,999 (about RM7,919) and it was also recently released in India. As you would expect from an automotive collaboration, the special edition Oppo phone features a number of design cues from the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster.

Some of the extra touches include a carbon-fibre pattern back and a hexagon camera bump with a matte bronze finish. Even the speaker grill has some design elements from the lower rear bumper of the car. On the rear, it features a 3D ridge glass with contours to emulate a supercar and you’ll also get a premium-looking “Automobili Lamborghini” badge with the iconic bull.

In terms of specs, it looks similar to the current Oppo Find X2 Pro featuring a 6.7″ OLED display that pushes a Quad HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is configured with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Since this is based on the Snapdragon 865 platform, it also supports 5G with both SA and NSA architectures.

In the camera department, it has a 48MP IMX689 main camera, a 48MP IMX586 ultra-wide-angle-shooter and a 13MP periscope telephoto lens that can push up to 60x zoom. For selfies, the Find X2 Pro gets a 32MP punch-hole camera on the top left corner of the screen. The device is still powered by a 4,260mAh battery that supports 65W fast charge via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 and the device also gets a special custom Lamborghini themes on top of ColorOS 7.1.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition package also gets a specially-designed microfibre leather case, wireless earphones which looks like an Oppo Enco Free and a SuperVOOC 2.0 Car Charger in the box.
