Are you ready for the coming 5G network revolution? With the coming of the next-generation mobile networks, devices need to be faster and more powerful than before to fully take advantage of 5G’s increased speed and vast volumes of data.

It is a good thing that realme Malaysia is ahead of the curve and has launched its new flagship 5G smartphone: the realme X50 Pro 5G. To be ready for the future, you need a future-proof smartphone and realme’s latest offering has everything you need to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Here are the 5 reasons why you should consider the realme X50 Pro 5G as your next smartphone.

1. A powerful processor that is 5G-ready

Powering the realme X50 Pro 5G is a 7nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with powerful A77 performance cores that can reach clock speeds of up to 2.84GHz. realme is bringing in one single variant that comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. This means that the phone will be able to keep up with all your tasks no matter how demanding, letting you focus on what you do without distraction.

It is also ready for the future of mobile communications with an integrated 5G modem. When used to its full potential on a 5G network, realme claims the device can achieve theoretical download speeds of up to 3.45Gbps, which is 10x faster than existing 4G networks. According to realme, this enables the realme X50 Pro 5G to download an HD movie within seconds as well as stream 4K quality videos without any buffering.

2.  Super-fast 65W SuperDart Flash Charge

One of the key features of the realme X50 Pro 5G is its super-quick charging abilities. Using realme’s 65w SuperDart Flash Charge via USB-C, users can fully recharge the 4,200mAh dual-cell battery from zero to 100% in just 35 minutes. Even when playing graphic-intensive games, the company claims the 65W SuperDart Flash Charge can still charge up to 57% in just half an hour.

realme added that its new generation GaN adapter offers blistering fast speeds and is protected by an intelligent five-core chip system. The realme X50 Pro 5G is also said to be an incredibly versatile device, as it supports 18W QC/PD charging as well as 30W Flash Charge.

3. Fast 90Hz Super AMOLED display

To be a true flagship smartphone, you need a sharp class-leading display and the realme X50 Pro 5G’s display does not disappoint. Featuring a 6.44” Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixel resolution) Super AMOLED display that offers a 92% screen-to-body ratio, 1000+nits brightness and support for HDR10+ content.

You also get silky smooth animations thanks to the display’s 90Hz refresh rate that has a 50% higher refresh rate compared to a standard 60Hz display. Whether it is consuming content or general navigation, the higher refresh rate makes for a smoother and more responsive experience.

It is also worth noting that the realme X50 Pro 5G has a 180Hz touch sampling rate that makes it very responsive to match the speed of the faster refresh rate. This also provides mobile gamers with a slight advantage when playing mobile games on the realme X50 Pro 5G.

4. An amazing and versatile array of cameras

realme’s X50 Pro 5G is pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography with its quad-camera array. Leading the pack is the 64MP main camera that uses a 1/1.72” Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor along with f/1.8 aperture lens.

realme said the camera employs an intelligent pixel binning mechanism that combines four adjacent pixels into a single 1.6μm large pixel. This is said to allow it to enhance the resolution and quality of images taken, even those in low-light settings while preserving details.

Apart from that you also get an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera that offers an aperture of f/2.3. With it, you can capture more of the surrounding scenery without having to take a step back. The camera is also capable of shooting detailed close-ups from as close as 3cm, making it a good macro camera to boot.

But if you need to zoom towards your subject, there is the 12MP telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.5. realme said the included its SZT (Smooth-Zoom Technology) simulates the feeling of using multiple zoom lenses on a single camera. It helps keep pictures stabilised while maintaining the same exposure and colour temperature between the different zoom images. Users can close in subjects by selecting the camera’s 2x, 5x or 20x optical hybrid zoom.

5. Enjoy richer audio with dual stereo speakers

With the realme X50 Pro 5G, you get a pair of powerful stereo speakers that offer terrific sound quality. The Dolby Atmos-certified speakers expand your listening experience by adding a more surround sound experience. It also supports Hi-Res audio, which is great for audiophiles who demand the very best audio quality. All in all, the realme X50 Pro 5G is well equipped to deliver a great audio experience regardless of whether you are watching a movie or listening to music.

Clearly the realme X50 Pro 5G is a powerhouse of a smartphone, and one that’s 5G ready to boot. But, the best part is that this smartphone can be yours for RM2,999 ringgit—that’s mighty impressive in a world where high-end smartphones often cost over RM3,000. Head on over to realme’s official store on Lazada to pick yours up today!
