Pay-TV operator Astro has recently stopped its two Phoenix channels on CH 318 and CH 323. As a replacement, they have introduced TVB News and TVBS News which had started its broadcast on the platform since yesterday.
For regular Phoenix channel viewers, here’s some good news. Astro has just announced that it will resume broadcast of Phoenix Chinese Channel and Phoenix InfoNews Channel after it has agreed to mutually acceptable commercial terms. Since TVB News and TVBS News are now occupying its previous channel numbers, the Phoenix Chinese HD Channel will be accessible on CH 325 while Phoenix InfoNews is accessible on CH 326.
Do note that the two Phoenix channels will resume starting from this Thursday, 9th July 2020.
Thanks Chong Chong Choon and Opv Swee Huat for the tip!
