Petrol prices are up again for the coming week. Malaysians will have to fork out 10 sen per litre more for RON95 and RON97 petrol while Diesel is up by 9 sen per litre. This is the biggest price hike during the movement control order.
Below are the fuel prices for the period between 27th June to 3rd July 2020:
RON95 – RM1.69/litre (+10 sen)
RON97 – RM1.99/litre (+10 sen)
Diesel – RM1.86/litre (+9 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.96/litre (+9 sen)
This marks the 7th straight week of price increase since the prices of fuel dropped to as low as RM1.25/liter for RON95 and RM1.55/litre for RON97. However, the prices are still lower compared to the pre-MCO period.
