Realme Malaysia to launch a new budget phone powered by Helio G35

Realme has started teasing that it’s releasing a new budget smartphone in Malaysia very soon. The new device is expected to be called the Realme C11 and it could be a more affordable alternative to Realme C3.

We still don’t know the full specs just yet but Realme has confirmed that it will be the world’s first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Helio G35 processor. The processor itself hasn’t been announced by MediaTek and we are guessing that this could be the entry-level offering of the Helio G series.

The device with the model number RMX2185 has passed Malaysia’s SIRIM database. There’s no 5GHz WiFi or NFC which is expected for a budget phone. According to its China Quality Certification listing, the phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and would come with a 10W charger.

As a reference, the Realme C3 which comes with a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at RM499. Based on the processor, it is likely that the C11 will be a much more affordable device. We still don’t know when the device will be announced but we reckon that Realme Malaysia will continue to drop more details in the coming weeks.
