Malaysians will have to fork out slightly more for petrol and diesel as the government has announced another price hike for the coming week. Petrol price for both RON95 and RON97 is up 3 sen per litre while Diesel will increase by 4 sen per litre.

Malaysia Petrol Price 20 June 2020

Below are the fuel prices for the period between 20th to 26th June 2020:

RON95 – RM1.59/litre (+3 sen)
RON97 – RM1.89/litre (+3 sen)
Diesel – RM1.77/litre (+4 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.87/litre (+4 sen)

This is the 6th straight week of price increase since mid-May when the price of fuel dropped to as low as RM1.25/litre for RON95 and RM1.55/litre for RON97. The fuel prices for the coming week is still lower than the pre-MCO period.

Under the current Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), Malaysians are now permitted to travel interstate and they are allowed to carry more passengers up to its legal limits. In case you missed it, drivers are now permitted to carry non-family members and you are also allowed to carpool to work with your fellow colleagues.
