Celcom Mega Unlimited users can buy extra hotspot quota for RM1/GB

Celcom is now offering new add-on options for Celcom Mega postpaid customers. When the new Mega Unlimited plans were introduced, customers were only limited to 5GB hotspot data for its RM98/month Mega Unlimited M and 10GB hotspot data on the RM148/month Mega Unlimited L plan. If you need more, you can now buy additional hotspot data that starts from as little as RM1.

Extra hotspot quota for Mega Unlimited

Celcom Mega Unlimited customers can purchase 1GB of hotspot data which is valid for 24 hours for only RM1. If you need more hotspot data for long term use, you can purchase 10GB for RM10, and it will be valid until the end of your billing cycle.

Take note that the speed of the hotspot data will follow your subscribed plan. This means you’ll get 5Mbps on Mega Unlimited M and 15Mbps on Mega Unlimited L. The extra hotspot add-on data can be purchased via the Celcom Life App.

Extra quota for Mega Lightning Add-on

For Mega Lightning postpaid subscribers, Celcom has more than doubled its add-on quota. You can now get 5GB of extra quota at RM20 while 12GB of data is now offered for RM40. If you need more, you can activate 25GB of extra data for RM80.

The extra add-on data can also be purchased via the Celcom Life App. Unlike the unlimited plan, there’s no speed cap or separated quota for hotspot usage on Celcom Mega Lightning.

Below is a recap of Celcom’s Mega Postpaid plans. You can learn more in our announcement post. Alternatively, you can visit Celcom’s postpaid page.
