COVID-19: Malaysia records 10 new cases today, 521 active cases remaining

The Ministry of Health has reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia today. This brings the total number of infections to 8,515. Fortunately, there are no new deaths reported and the death toll remains at 121.

There are 140 new recoveries today, and a total of 7,873 patients have recovered so far. The recovery rate is currently 92.46% and the mortality rate is 1.42%.

There are currently 521 active cases remaining which are currently isolated and receiving treatment. 4 are in ICU and there are no cases that require respiratory support.

The ministry has updated that there are no imported cases today. All 10 new cases are transmitted locally which consists of 3 foreigners and 7 Malaysians.
