Father’s Day is almost upon us, and if you’re wondering what to get for your dad this year, Jabra Malaysia has announced a promotion for the Jabra Elite Active 75t. The Elite Active 75t is essentially a waterproof variant of the non-active version, and you get IP57 ingress protection for the Active version.
From the outside, Jabra’s Elite Active 75t looks identical to the Elite 75t, which means that you get the same comfortable design with a smaller body and longer stem. Jabra tells us that “thousands” of measurements have been made to get the optimal earbud shape and size, which explains the emphasis the brand is placing on comfort here.
I’ve yet to try these out in person, but my colleague Rory says that he had no issues achieving a tight steal with the Elite 75t (not the Elite Active 75t), while its lightweight nature added to this comfort. For his full first impressions, watch the video below:
You’re also looking at an estimated battery life of up to 7.5 hours on a single charge, with a total of 28 hours if you include the charging case. Wireless charging isn’t supported on these headphones, although you can pick up a wireless charging case separately. Like many premium wireless headphones in the market today, most major virtual assistants are supported: Google Assistant, Siri, and even Amazon Alexa.
Jabra’s Elite Active 75t is officially priced at RM999, which is slightly more than the standard Elite 75T at RM949. But for the Father’s Day promotion, customers who purchase the Elite Active 75t (available in Navy and Dark Grey) will also get a free pair of the Jabra Elite 45e in Gold Beige (worth RM415), along with free delivery.
The Jabra Elite 45e, meanwhile, are also wireless headphones—although they’re connected with a bluetooth neckband as opposed to being TWS. What’s rather interesting is the fact that the neckband utilises memory wire to ensure that it “remembers” the shape and contours of your neck.
The Father’s Day promotion is only available on Jabra’s official Lazmall store on Lazada from the 13th of June till the 21st of June 2020. To find out more about the Jabra Elite Active 75t, click here.
