Honor has also introduced the Magic Earbuds, its first hybrid active noise cancellation headphones for the Malaysian market. It is officially priced at RM499 but you can get it with an introductory price of RM399.
If you purchase it from the HiHonor online store, they are bundling a free Honor Scale 2 worth RM99 and a RM50 online voucher. The Magic Earbuds will also be available on Shopee and they are also bundling the Honor Scale 2 for free. At the moment , the TWS earphones are only offered in White.
The Magic EarBuds come with a 10mm driver unit and it supports touch controls which allows you to control your music playback with a couple of taps. To enable noise cancellation, you can toggle the mode by long pressing on either earbuds.
On a single charge, it can last up to 3 hours of music playback with ANC enabled or up to 3.5 hours with ANC turned off. For voice calls, it can last up to 2 hours with ANC and up to 2.5 hours without ANC.
With the charging case, you could get up to 13 hours of total music playback and it charges via USB-C. For a better fit, the silicon ear tips are replaceable and they have included additional sizes.
According to Honor, the Magic Earbuds can cancel up to 32 dB of unwanted surrounding noise. During its global launch, they claim that its earbuds’ effective noise-cancelling feature to be just as good as the Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM3 in selected scenarios.
The Magic Earbuds come with two external mics and one inner mic to remove ambient noise during voice calls. If you’re using a compatible Honor smartphone running on EMUI 10.0 or Magic UI 3.0 or later, it also supports instant one-step setup when you open the charging case.
