Honor 9X Lite and Magic EarBuds with ANC are coming to Malaysia on 27 May

Honor has announced that it will be having a launch event next week which will reveal 3 new products for the Malaysian market. Apart from the Honor 9X Lite, Honor is also launching the Magic EarBuds as well as the Honor Scale 2.

The launch is happening on the 27th of May and it is likely to be streamed live since we are still under the conditional movement control order. The Honor 9X Lite is a budget smartphone that’s expected to come with Google Mobile Service pre-installed. Looking at the spec-sheet, it appears to be a rehash of its older Honor 8X but with a better main camera.

The Honor Magic EarBuds were announced a few months ago and it comes with a hybrid active noise cancelling technology. It claims to offer an effective noise cancellation that’s on par if not better than the AirPods Pro and Sony’s WF-1000XM3 in selected scenarios.

On a single charge, it is rated to last 3.5 hours of music playback and the charging case can provide up to 13 hours of total music playback. In Europe, it is priced at EUR129 which is around RM614 but we expect it to be priced lower when it goes on sale in Malaysia.
