Teaser: The Realme Watch is coming “soon”

The smartwatch market has grown considerably in the past few years or so—nowadays, the multitude of options range from affordable fitness bands, all the way to premium, specialist-centric smartwatches. At the more affordable end of the spectrum, we also have a category that I like to call “psuedo-smartwatches“—and the upcoming Realme Watch will probably fall into this segment of wearables.

The upcoming arrival of Realme’s first smartwatch (no, fitness bands don’t count here) isn’t a big secret at all. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has already talked about the wearable pretty extensively, and leaks have also surfaced that detail what the smartwatch could offer.

And now, Madhav has followed that up with a new teaser video uploaded on his personal Twitter account. The Tweet seemingly confirms that the Realme Watch is launching soon, with the video giving us a glimpse of the square watch face of the wearable underneath the statement: See you soon.

This tallies with the information we already have, with the purported Realme Watch already spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM database. Plus, the level of detail in the leaks we’ve seen so far could be further proof that the smartwatch is about to launch in the near future.

However, Madhav doesn’t refer to the actual launch date for the Realme Watch. Instead, the teaser serves to confirm what we already know: we will have a new smartwatch hitting the market soon. Additionally, we’re also expecting the company’s wearable to be priced in the affordable range, and it should rival affordable smartwatches such as the Huawei Watch GT 2e as well as Amazfit’s range of wearables.

For now, you can stay up to date on any new developments by keeping your browser locked on SoyaCincau.com. What do you think?
