The iPhone SE 2020 is now available for pre-order on Maxis. Interestingly, the green telco is only offering the 128GB storage variant and you can get it from as low as RM64/month on contract.
All plans are tied to a 24-month contract duration. You have the option to get it on a Zerolution instalment program with RM0 upfront or with the usual standard contract bundling.
On Maxis Zerolution, it is available on MaxisOne Plan 128, 158, 188 or with MaxisOne Share 48. Below are the monthly all-in costs (excluding tax):
MaxisOne 128 – RM198/month (RM70 phone + RM128 plan)
MaxisOne 158 – RM225/month (RM67 phone + RM158 plan)
MaxisOne 188 – RM252/month (RM64 phone + RM188 plan)
MaxisOne Share 48 – RM139/month (RM91 phone + RM48 plan)
Do note that Zerolution option with RM0 upfront is only applicable to existing Maxis customers with good payment history. It is also applicable to new customers provided that they pass the eligibility criteria. In case you’re wondering, MaxisOne Share 48 is a supplementary plan which requires a MaxisOne principal postpaid line.
If you prefer to pay the subsidised device price upfront below is the iPhone SE price on contract:
MaxisOne 128 – RM1,077 (Advance: RM714)
MaxisOne 158 – RM861 (Advance: RM834)
MaxisOne 188 – RM645 (Advance: RM954)
On a standard contract, you’ll have to pay an advance payment that ranges between RM714 to RM954 in addition to the device price and it will be rebated back to your account. Typically, existing customers with good payment history could get a waiver for the advance payment.
According to Maxis, the pre-order is available on 13th and 14th of May, and it will go on sale at all Maxis stores nationwide from 15th May. For more info, you can visit the iPhone SE page on Maxis.
