Digi offers the Huawei P40 from RM178/month all-in

The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro are now officially available in Malaysia with a retail price starting from RM2,799. If you prefer to get it on a postpaid contract on an instalment, Digi is now offering the latest flagship duo on its PhoneFreedom 365 program.

According to Digi, they are offering the lowest all-in monthly payment for the P40 series. With PhoneFreedom 365, eligible customers can enjoy RM0 upfront payment. However, this is offered to existing customers subject to tenure, payment history and usage.

Huawei P40

For the Huawei P40 128GB, you can get it on Digi’s Postpaid 80 + GBoost (RM90/month), Postpaid 120 (RM120/month), Postpaid 160 (RM160/month) and Postpaid 190 (RM190/month) with a 24-month contract. What’s interesting is that Digi is offering double data quota and this means you’ll be getting 60GB with the Postpaid 80 + GBoost option.

Below is the all-in instalment amount (excluding taxes) for the P40 on Digi PhoneFreedom 365:

Postpaid 80 + GBoost – RM178/month
Postpaid 120 – RM188/month
Postpaid 160 – RM218/month
Postpaid 190 – RM238/month

Huawei P40 Pro

For the higher-spec Huawei P40 Pro 256GB, the device is only available on the top 3 highest postpaid options. The most affordable option is Postpaid 120 where you can get the device for RM228/month all-in (RM120 Subscription + RM108 device instalment).

Below is the all-in monthly instalment for the P40 Pro on Digi excluding taxes on a 24-month contract:

Postpaid 120 – RM228/month
Postpaid 160 – RM258/month
Postpaid 190 – RM278/month

Bundled Freebies

Digi is also offering a bunch of freebies for the P40 and P40 Pro. Both devices will get a pair of Huawei FreeBuds 3, Huawei Care (1-year extended warranty and 1-month screen protection), Huawei Cloud Storage 50GB (12 months) and Huawei Video (3 months). The P40 will also be bundled with a wireless charging case, while the P40 Pro will come with a SuperCharge Wireless Car Charger.

The PhoneFreedom 365 program is an easy ownership option that offers zero upfront payment for existing Digi customers that are eligible. Although it is also offered for new customers, do note that the device advance payment required is RM2,448 for the P40 and a whopping RM3,408 for the P40 Pro. The advance payment will be rebated back to your bill across 24-months. As pointed out previously, you might as buy the device outright if you are not eligible for the advance payment waiver.

Due to the Movement Control Order, customers may sign up online and the device will be shipped to your doorstep. If you’re interested, you can order online via the Digi Online Store.
