At the moment, the platform has crossed its one million users’ mark just a month after it expanded to Petronas stations nationwide. Setel CEO Iskandar Ezzahudin said that its daily order in February alone has shown an increase of 85% from the previous month, and it is an indication of Setel’s appeal to customers as the new retail-on-the-go convenience in Malaysia.
With Setel, users can make cashless payments via the app and still earn Mesra points. This method of payment also helps in social distancing as there’s no longer a need to queue. On top of that, you can refuel immediately without fumbling over payment cards and entering pin number at the pump terminal. You can also redeem your current Mesra points for fuel purchase via the app.
For this week, the price of petrol is currently at RM1.38/litre for RON95 and RM1.68/litre for RON97. However, due to the Movement Control Order, Malaysians are still urged to stay at home and only to go out to buy food and necessities.
