MCO: Watch 22 Astro channels for free on your mobile device via Astro Go

Astro has announced that they are opening up its Astro Go mobile service to all Malaysians including non-Astro subscribers. To keep Malaysians entertained at home during the Movement Control Order, they are giving everyone access to 22 Astro channels for free until the 31st of March 2020.

The free content includes news channels such as Astro Awani and Bernama TV as well as kids channels such as Cartoon Network and Astro Tutor TV. Also available are Astro Arena and eGG.

Apart from TV channels, all Malaysians will also get access to on-demand content from selected channels. Below is the full list of channels available:

To start watching, just download the Astro Go app which is available on both Google Play Store and Apple AppStore. Alternatively, you can also watch via your desktop browser at astrogo.astro.com.my. An Astro ID is required and it’s free to register.

Do note that this free viewing offer is available for users in Malaysia. Only 1 device is allowed per ID so other family members will need to register their own Astro ID account for their own device. According to Astro, the recommended speed is 5Mbps and it is better to use WiFi for the best experience. If you need help, you can contact Astro via WhatsApp.

In case you missed it, Astro is offering all of its users free access to all movie channels until the 31st of March 2020. For Astro subscribers with a Sports Pack, you’ll also get access to all Astro channels for free until 30th April 2020.
