Restriction of movement in Malaysia?! COVID-19 | ICYMI #294

On today’s ICYMI, we are going to talk about the restriction of movement due to the spike of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia and what are the measures taken by our local companies.

The movement will last for 2 weeks (18th March – 31st of March 2020) and the soyacincau team will be working from home during this period of time. So remember to stay safe guys and if it’s not necessary you guys better stay home and avoid human contact and keep yourself clean. And let’s get back to our news.

Astro offers free access to all movie channels starting today

If you are bored at home for the Next 2 weeks, Astro is giving all of its subscribers complimentary access to view all movie channels on Astro and Astro Go.

GrabFood and GrabCar to run as usual during restricted movement

Grab has assured that all of its services including GrabFood, GrabExpress, GrabMart and GrabCar will continue to operate as usual. Click here to find out more.

FoodPanda to implement “Contactless Delivery” during Movement Control Order

But what about FoodPanda? Well it appears that they will be operating as usual. And to minimize risk and reduce human interaction, they will be launching a Contactless Delivery policy starting today. 

All Tesco Malaysia stores to remain open

Last but not least, Tesco has announced that all of their 60 stores will remain opened during this period. They assure that there’s enough stocks and will continue to replenish essential products.
