Vivo Malaysia distributes free hand sanitisers at selected stores today

In light with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Vivo Malaysia is handing out free hand sanitisers to the public for today only. This will be distributed at four Vivo Store outlets in Peninsular Malaysia.

If you’re interested, the distribution is taking place today, Sunday, 15th March from 2pm to 3pm. The participating outlets are:

  1. Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur
  2. Sunway Pyramid, Selangor
  3. Queensbay Mall, Penang
  4. Aeon Tebrau City, Johor

The hand sanitisers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

To contain the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health as urged everyone to wash their hands with soap for at least 20 seconds and to cover your mouth and nose if you sneeze or cough.

At the moment, the government has advised all parties to postpone or cancel all forms of gathering and events until the 30th of April to contain the spread of the diseases. Health Minister, Dr. Adham Baba has urged Malaysians to stay away from any public gathering exceeding 50 people.

As of yesterday, there are 41 new cases which brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 238. 35 people have recovered and there are zero deaths reported so far in Malaysia.
