Sony’s new 4K Android TVs with Apple Airplay are now available for pre-order

Sony Malaysia has announced the arrival of its Bravia X80H 4K LED television series. It is an Android TV that is compatible with Apple Airplay and the Apple HomeKit which enables users to enjoy Apple TV+ content with a subscription. As of now, the TV can be pre-ordered at Sony Stores and selected Sony Centres until the 31st of March with a starting price of RM3,099.

With a TRILUMINOUS display and an X1 4K HDR processor, Sony claims that this technology produces more colours than conventional TVs and this, in turn, creates images that are more close to real life.

In addition, the Motionflow XR technology creates smooth movement and reduces blur even in action sequences. It also has Dolby Vision which according to Sony, can provide an in-depth and rich cinematic experience.

For the audio aspect, Sony has included Dolby Atmos, which is surround sound and multi-dimensional. To keep up with the sleek design of the TV, Sony has included its in-built X-Balanced speaker which is slim while not compromising on sound quality.

The TV features a thin and narrow bezel to keep users more engaged on the picture instead of the physical TV. Besides this, there is access to a variety of content and services, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime and there are over 5,000 apps to choose from. For those who prefer to use voice command, the TV also offers voice control so that users can get to watch their content instantly.

Another cool feature is that this TV comes with a remote that has a dedicated Netflix button, which means that users can start streaming in one click. Sony also claims that the apps start or load much faster than before, with “no more waiting” involved when switching between apps.

For those interested, Sony is offering a Netflix gift card worth RM100 and a keyboard for those who place a pre-order. The X80H 4K LED TVs will be available in April 2020. The official prices for the Sony X80H 4K LED TVs in Malaysia are as follows:
