Pay less for the Samsung Galaxy S20 when you trade-in two devices

To make it easier for Samsung loyal users to switch to the Galaxy S20, Samsung Malaysia is offering a Trade-up promo where you can get higher trade-in value for your existing smartphone. In addition to the overtrade offer, Samsung is now offering additional rebates when you trade-in another device that has a camera feature.

Samsung Overtrade Promo

If you own a Samsung Galaxy flagship device, your device could be valued as high as RM2,565 with Samsung’s current overtrade promo. As mentioned previously, you can switch from a Galaxy S10+ to a Galaxy S20+ (RRP: RM3,999) for RM2,304.

Extra RM200 Rebate for any camera

For additional savings, you can also trade-in any camera or a device with a camera feature to enjoy an extra RM200 rebate while stocks last. According to Samsung, each customer is entitled to one-time trade-in for the phone and a one-time camera rebate for every purchase of a participating model. For the camera trade-in offer, the T&C states that this is for any electronic device with a camera function and that includes smartphones. It also mentions that the camera can be in any working condition.

Do note that the overtrade promo for Galaxy device is valid until 31st of May but the RM200 trade-in for cameras will end very soon on the 15th of March 2020. The promos are valid at all participating Samsung Experience Stores nationwide.

Before you hand over your old phone, you must perform a full backup and it is recommended that you hard reset the device. If you’re happy with the price evaluation, you can proceed with the trade-in offer and pay for the price difference after the rebates.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is priced as follows:

Samsung Galaxy S20 – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – RM3,599
Samsung Galaxy S20+ – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – RM3,999
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G – 12GB RAM + 128GB storage – RM4,999
