RON95 fuel price drops by 19 sen to RM1.89/litre in Malaysia

The Ministry of Finance Malaysia has announced the latest fuel price for the coming week and this is the lowest price for RON95 that we’ve seen in a long time. The pricing is based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism and it will take effect from midnight tonight.

Below are the fuel prices which will take effect between 7th to 13th March 2020.

RON95 – RM1.89/litre (-19 sen)
RON97 – RM2.19/litre (-21 sen)
Diesel – RM1.96/litre (-17 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM2.06/litre (-17 sen)

According to Harga Petrol records, the last time RON95 dips below RM2.00/litre was sometime in January – February 2019. Between 12th to 18th January 2019, RON95 was going for RM1.92/litre, RON97 was at RM2.22/liter and Diesel was priced at RM2.05/litre.

RON95 was previously priced at RM1.89/litre between 29th June to 5th July 2017. During that week, RON97 was priced at RM2.15/litre and Diesel was priced at RM1.84/litre.
