International Women’s Day is almost upon us! The 8th of March 2020 will mark the annual celebration of social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, along with the continued call for more gender equality. And to celebrate notable achievements by women around the world, Apple has just released a new Behind the Mac video.
Set to Beyonce’s track from 2014, ***Flawless ft. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the short film—if you can call it that—is a compilation of a number of influential, successful, and powerful women that have made an impact.
The following is a full list of individuals that have been featured:

The video features black and white images of the aforementioned women, ranging from activists to filmmakers, and a pretty diverse set of individuals. Of course, each photo depicts the featured individual using a Mac of some sort—a MacBook, and iMac, and so on—which is in line with the Behind the Mac series.
In the past, other videos in the series have included the use of anime characters, while creators using Macs for art, education, coding, and other creative tasks have also been featured. The latest video in the Behind the Mac series, however, is one that celebrates the integral roles played by women in today’s society.
Of course, having a Mac front-and-centre of each photo used in the video/slideshow is unavoidable.
