Najib, Rosmah and 1MDB featured on Netflix’s Dirty Money series

Former Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife will be featured on the second season of Dirty Money. This is a Netflix documentary series that focuses on financial scandals and corruption around the world.

The former Prime Minister is set to appear in an episode titled “Man at the top” which is directed by Zach Heinzerling. The episode focuses on the 1MDB issue and it includes an interview with Najib Razak. You can check out the full trailer below:

Apart from the 1MDB corruption case, Dirty Money Season 2 also takes a look at Jared Kushner’s real estate empire as well as the Wells Fargo banking scandal. Najib is currently undergoing trial for charges of corruption and money laundering involving 1MDB while his wife, Rosmah Mansor is facing charges for a solar hybrid project in Sarawak.

Dirty Money Season 2 will be available exclusively on Netflix on 11th March 2020. In case you missed it, Netflix is now available in 4 plan options and there’s a mobile-only plan that costs RM17/month. With the introduction of the digital tax, the subscription for the higher plans has been increased to as high as RM55/month for the top Netflix Premium tier.
