The Realme C3 is now official and this replaces the current Realme C2 smartphone. Despite being an entry-level device, Realme is targeting the device at mobile gamers and it comes with a gaming-centric processor by MediaTek, a large screen plus a huge 5,000mAh battery.
The Realme C3 comes with a 6.5″ LCD display that pushes a HD+ resolution and it runs on an Helio G70 processor. According to the Thai product page, the device can be configured with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM and with storage options of either 32GB or 64GB. It’s also a dual-SIM device that comes with a dedicated microSD card expansion slot.
For taking pictures, the rear gets a triple-camera setup that consists of a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, 2MP portrait camera and a 2MP macro shooter. Upfront, the screen has a tiny notch that houses a 5MP f/2.4 selfie camera. Although this is an entry-level phone, the C3 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also supports Face Unlock. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 but it lacks 802.11ac WiFi support.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery which still charges via microUSB. A standard 10W power brick is included and the device still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Realme’s new UI that’s based on Android 10.
In Indonesia, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage device is priced at INR 1,699,000 (about RM515) but it’s offered for INR 1,549,000 (about RM470) during the flash sale. The same model is going for THB 3,999 (about RM533) in Thailand. The Realme C3 is offered in two colours – Frozen Blue and Blazing Red.
