Oppo has sent out invites for their Oppo Find X2 launch that’s happening in less than 3 weeks. This is Oppo’s new flagship series that succeeds the current Oppo Find X.

According to the invite, the Oppo Find X2 launch event is taking place at CCIB in Barcelona on the 22nd February 2020 at 2pm local time. This is two days ahead of Mobile World Congress which starts on 24th February. It is worth pointing out that this is the same venue where Samsung had launched their Galaxy S5, S6 and S7 series.

This is probably the first time Oppo has launched an actual product at Mobile World Congress. In their previous attendance, MWC is usually a venue for them to showcase their latest technologies such as their periscope zoom and their dual-camera system with 5x optical zoom.

The Find X2 series is expected to come in two models and both have already appeared on our Malaysian SIRIM database. The standard Find X2 is a 4G model while the Find X2 Pro is spotted with 5G bands. The device is expected to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor and it is speculated to feature a 120Hz Quad HD+ AMOLED display along with 65W Super VOOC flash charging. In the imaging department, you can expect a quad-camera setup which may include a 48MP camera that has a large 1/1.3″ sensor size.

The SoyaCincau team will be heading to Barcelona during the MWC week so stay tuned to us for the latest updates.
