Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 specs

To recap, Samsung’s Galaxy A51 and A71 are mid-range smartphones. Both handsets feature Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays, but the Galaxy A51 has a 6.5″ panel while the Galaxy A71 gets a larger 6.7″ panel instead. Inside, the smartphones differ a little when it comes to RAM and processor, but feature a generous 128GB of internal storage that you can expand via microSD.

At its heart, the Galaxy A51 is powered by an Exynos 9611 processor that’s mated to 6GB of RAM while the Galaxy A71 is packing a Snapdragon 730 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy A51 also gets a smaller 4,000 mAh battery compared to the Galaxy A71’s 4,500 mAh, and that is complemented with 15W fast-charging on the A51 compared to 25W fast-charging on the A71.

For photography, both smartphones come with a quad-camera setup at the back that features a wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor. The biggest difference is that the Galaxy A51 packs a 48MP wide-angle camera while the Galaxy A71 sports a 64MP wide-angle camera instead.

Both handsets come with access to Samsung’s ecosystem features including Bixby and Samsung Pay (NFC-only), and they also have in-display fingerprint scanners for biometric security.
