New Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite leak confirms Super Steady OIS feature

[ UPDATE 4/1/2020 00:00 ] Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are now official. Learn more here.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite leaks just keep on coming. This time we get a very clear look thanks to leakster Ishan Agarwal. Not only it matches the high-resolution renders provided by @Onleaks, but it also confirms the new “Super Steady OIS” feature which was previously speculated as TiltOIS.

In terms of design, it looks nothing like the current Galaxy S10 series. It comes with a flat punch-hole display and a new camera bump design that looks like the upcoming Galaxy S20 series. It isn’t clear how Super Steady OIS works but it could be a new feature that allows the lens to tilt in order to compensate for unwanted movements.

So far Ishan has shared three colours of the device – White, Blue and Black. Despite being a more affordable model, the device still retains a metal frame. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right which to me is a more practical placement.

Apart from the Galaxy S10 Lite, he has also shared the leaked press image for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. It looks similar from the front but the rear gets a squarish camera bump which is similar to the Huawei Mate 20 series. As you would expect, the Note 10 Lite also comes with an S Pen which is expected to be Bluetooth-connected.

The S10 Lite is said to feature a 6.7″ Full HD+ AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 855 processor. The rear triple-cameras are said to be a 48MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP camera for depth effects. The device is also likely to share the same 4,500mAh battery capacity as the Note 10 Lite. Interestingly, the Super Steady OIS feature is not available on the Note 10 Lite.

Judging by the leaks, it looks like Samsung will be revealing both devices very soon and it could be announced next week during CES 2020. Previously it was speculated that the two devices will be released first in emerging markets including India.
