Flux now offers pickup trucks on subscription from RM1,208/month

Car subscription platform, Flux, is now offering pickup trucks on their fleet. There are currently more than 10 pickups available which include the Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger, Mazda BT-50 and Mitsubishi Triton.

At the moment, it appears that the pickup subscription options on Flux are not brand new. They are mostly two to five years old with an average mileage between 36,000-72,000 km.

The cheapest option available is a 2015 Mazda BT-50 that has a mileage of 73,832 km. It’s going for RM1,208 per month on a 36-month contract with its Lite mileage package of 1,250 km per month (15,000 km per year).

If you need more mileage, it will cost you RM133/month extra, while unlimited mileage is an extra RM797/month. Flux also lets you subscribe on a month-to-month basis but this will increase the monthly fee to RM2,174/month.

If you prefer other makes, the Toyota Hilux starts from RM1,811/month while the Isuzu D-Max is going from RM1,328/month. The Ford Ranger is available from RM1,449/month for both the 3.2L (A) Petrol and 2.2L (M) Diesel option.

To subscribe, you’ll need to place a refundable security deposit which can range between 1 to 4 months subscription depending on your risk profile. Flux also offers a 3-day risk-free return policy which allows you to swap your car for something else if you’re not happy with the selected vehicle.

With Flux, you won’t need to worry about car maintenance, insurance and road tax, as all of those costs are included with the subscription fee. On top of that, there’s also a concierge service that will manage your roadside assistance and car maintenance. When the car is due for service at a workshop, Flux will pick up your car and they will deliver it back to you when it’s done.

If you’re looking for a smaller vehicle, they are now offering a 2019 Honda City from RM1,199/month. For more info, you can check out the full list on their website.
