Maxis offers the Apple Watch Series 5 LTE from RM91/month

The latest Apple Watch Series 5 with cellular support is now available on Maxis. The watch can be yours from as low as RM91/month on Maxis’ Zerolution program that has zero upfront payment required.

The Apple Watch comes in two sizes and the 40mm version is going for RM91/month while the larger 44mm variant is priced at RM97/month. As usual, it is tied with a 24-month contract. To recap, the Apple Watch Series 5 LTE variant is priced from RM2,199 for the 40mm size and RM2,349 for the larger 44mm size.

To share the same mobile number, calls, SMS and data quota as your postpaid line on your Apple Watch, you’ll need to subscribe to Maxis Postpaid 18 Watch plan which costs RM18/month. For new subscribers that sign up from 13 December, you’ll get 3 months subscription for free.

The eSIM based plan is eligible for MaxisONE Plan and MaxisONE Share customers, and you must own an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13.3 or later. As confirmed by Maxis, you won’t need to enable VoLTE to enjoy voice calls, SMS and data on the watch.

To activate the plan, just start the pairing process with the Apple Watch app and tap on “Set up Cellular” on the Cellular Setup page. You will be directed to the Maxis Postpaid 18 Watch page and you can proceed by submitting your IC number. You can follow the step by step process here.

If you’re interested to get the Apple Watch Series 5 from Maxis, you’ll need to visit a participating store. Maxis has also provided a live view of the stock status on their website.
