Save 28% on GoCar bookings with KLIA Ekpres + GoCar Package

Car-sharing platform GoCar and ERL have announced a partnership which enables seamless connectivity to and from KLIA and KLIA2. If you’re travelling to Kuala Lumpur, you can enjoy 28% off on GoCar bookings when you purchase a return KLIA Ekpres ticket combo from KLIA and KLIA2.

The Return Trip on KLIA Ekspres + GoCar package costs RM101 for one single adult and you can add more passengers at RM101 per adult or RM40.50 per child. After the booking, you will receive your train e-ticket along with a GoCar promo code in two separate PDF attachments via email.

You’ll have to book the car via the GoCar app and you must book at least 12 hours ahead of your selected travel date and time. To enjoy the 28% discount (Max cap: RM50), you must enter the promo code under the payment details section. The discount is only applicable for GoCar bookings at KL Sentral.

For first time GoCar users, you must register an account which requires a valid driver’s license, credit/debit card and a Malaysian/international phone number. Malaysians must submit a selfie of themselves picture holding a license or IC, while foreigners are required to take a selfie while holding an international driving permit and password. Verification may take 12-24 hours and new members will be charged a one-time lifetime membership fee of RM10 when you make your first booking.

Do note that this promo is applicable for return KLIA Express bookings originating from KLIA or KLIA2 to KL Sentral. The “GoCar – Return Trip” option is not available when you try to book from KL Sentral to KLIA/KLIA2. Just ensure that you select “GoCar – Return Trip” under the “Type” drop-down menu on KLIA Ekspres’ website.

At the moment, GoCar is available in over 400 locations across 7 states in Malaysia, which include Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan, Johor, Kedah, Penang, Perak and Negeri Sembilan. The existing fleet has a number of vehicle options such as the Nissan Almera, Renault Captur, Nissan Navara, Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, Nissan Teana, Nissan Grand Livina and Renault Koleos. Apart from KLIA and KLIA2, travellers can also pick up a GoCar at Bandar Tasik Selatan and Salak Tinggi.
