Enjoy the holistic Smart Life with Huawei’s full range of Smart Devices

This post is brought to you by Huawei Malaysia.

In the fast-moving world that we all live in, it’s imperative to remain connected to the world regardless of the situation. Whether you’re experiencing the bustling city life, travelling for work or holiday, or simply sitting back and unwinding, it’s important to live a well-rounded, balanced lifestyle.

Centred around their full range of Smart Devices, Huawei has prepared 4 tips to ensure that you have a holistic, complete lifestyle. Let’s break it down.

1. Get a daily dose of Vitamin Sea

If you’re looking for a vacation spot, the sound of waves crashing against the beach can be one of the most soothing things to listen to. And of course, bring along a mobile device with the power and versatility to fulfil your entertainment needs as you’re relaxing.

In that sense, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro should certainly cover the bases. There are a couple of things to consider: power under the hood for gaming needs, enough storage if you’re the type to store movies and TV serials, and a battery large enough to get you through the day.

The Mate 30 Pro, as you may have already heard, is powered by the powerful Kirin 990 processor, has a large 4,500mAh battery to comfortably sustain it through the day, and its 256GB of storage should be enough for all but the most avid of movie file hoarders.

Throw in a 6.53” Full HD+ OLED display, and you have a superb device to spend your day lazing by the beach with it. That’s including work, movies, and staying connected to social media and connectivity apps.

And if you’re a creator or you want to document your everyday surroundings—the Mate 30 Pro can shoot ultra-slow motion videos with 7680 fps. Meanwhile, enjoy hands-free controls with AI gestures. Gamers can also get into full gaming mode with the virtual L and R buttons that the Horizon Display offers—perfect for first-person-shooter mobile games.

2. Avoid the glare, and stay connected

Let’s be real. Part the reason sunglasses are worn are for the aesthetic appeal of having a pair of snazzy shades as your enjoy the vacation. But sunglasses, of course, protect your eyes from the glare of the sun—particularly if you’re on vacation in a sunny environment.

The Huawei x Gentle Monster Smart Eyewear series combines the style of traditional sunglasses and the functionality of a smart device, in this sense. Pick up calls, listen to music, and keep your eyes protected from the sun—all in one device.

Built-in dual speakers come with a semi-open design, while Huawei’s Artificial Intelligence helps with noise reduction for calls, using dual microphones that sit on your temples. Huawei claims that you can expect more than 2.5 hours of usage on a single charge, and if you add that with the leather wireless charging case’s battery, Huawei promises up to 8 hours of playtime in total.

And even if you’re holidaying by the seaside or running through the city, the Smart Eyewear series is rated at IP67 for dust and water resistance, so rest easy.

3. It’s important to stay active

Despite the entirely understandable urge to simply laze around during a vacation or weekends, remember to stay active. Put away your mobile games and social media from time to time, and work on your fitness in the real world.

Keep the Gentle Monster eyewear on for your music, and put on the new Huawei Watch GT 2 smartwatch to track your activities. There are multiple exercises available for customised workout sessions, and you can track your vitals such as your heart rate so that you have an effective—and safe—workout session.

Keep in mind that you can also pair the Gentle Monster eyewear to your Watch GT 2, which has 4GB of onboard storage for MP3s. So you can opt to leave your Mate 30 Pro smartphone behind, and simply hook up the Watch GT 2 to your Gentle Monster eyewear for music.

Huawei also promises up to 2 weeks of battery life with the Watch GT 2, while the new smartwatch also features a microphone and speaker for you to answer calls directly on the smartwatch.

And to keep things fresh, you have a wide selection of watch faces to choose from—depending on your stylistic preferences, of course.

4. Keep the music pumping

Life isn’t complete without a great track playing, of course. You can choose to pair the Watch GT 2 or your Mate 30 Pro to the Huawei FreeBuds 3—they even come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), so you can totally shut out the rest of the world as you relax or work out. According to Huawei, these are the first open-fit TWS earbuds that support both call noise-reduction and real-time active noise cancellation.

Huawei promises a stable Bluetooth connection and reduced audio latency, thanks to a dual-channel synchronous transmission mode, which will lend itself to a better overall experience.

Each earbud also comes with a 30mAh battery which promises up to 4 hours of playtime on a single charge, and with the charging case included, you’re looking at up to 20 hours of playback. And to keep things simple on-the-go, you can even charge the FreeBuds 3 using the Mate 30 Pro’s Reverse Wireless Charging.

With the growing number of wearables, smartphones, headphones, and other devices, Huawei is clearly continuing to place its focus on continuing to build an ecosystem that handles everything that you need: Huawei Smart Life.

And if you have to handle a little work while on vacation, or you want to document the vacation for your social media platforms, Huawei’s “One Touch” transfer is certainly a seamless, easy-to-use method. Using a Mate 30 Pro and a MateBook 13 laptop (and other supported models), you can display and control your smartphone on your laptop.

So if you want to transfer your photos, documents, or videos to your MateBook 13 laptop for editing, it’s a transfer process that is practically instant. This multi-screen collaboration has a pretty versatile set of uses: drag-and-drop, OneHop screen recordings, and even simply to control your smartphone from your laptop.

And to ensure that you have a steady, powerful internet connection in your house or office, Huawei’s Q2 Pro Wi-Fi solution can help to kill dead spots and avoid drop-offs in speed with a multi-node system. This, according to Huawei, will allow you to move around with a seamless, smooth Wi-Fi connection.
