GrabPay, the eWallet that sits within the Grab app, is now accepted in more than 3,000 new touchpoints nationwide. This covers both offline and online merchants in Malaysia, and the expansion is in line with the government’s national agenda to go cashless.
Grab has added almost 3,600 new GrabPay touchpoints and it includes hypermarkets such as Giant, Tesco and Mydin, as well as health and beauty retailers such as Watsons and Guardian. MBO Cinemas, Dominos and 99 Speedmart have also added GrabPay support and soon, you can also pay at Zalora and Petron by 15th November 2019.
According to Ooi Huey Tyng, GrabPay Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, Grab wants to grow a digitally savvy community and be the everyday, everything eWallet for their users. Their strategic alliance with partners such as Maybank and PayNet (DuitNow QR), and with these household brands, is just one example of how they are innovating their eWallet to meet their consumers’ needs while growing the cashless culture.
In conjunction with the upcoming 11.11 sale, Grab is currently running a 11.11 Mega Deals campaign where you can enjoy special offers from as low as 11 sen.
