The Mi Note 10, which is basically the global variant of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, will be announced tomorrow in Madrid. This is Xiaomi’s premium mid-range smartphone that comes with a total of five cameras at the rear and it has a top score of 121 points on DxOMark. If you can’t wait to get your hands on the device, it appears that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is coming to Malaysia very soon.
A new Xiaomi device with the model number M1910F4G has just gotten the green light from SIRIM and this is highly likely to be the Mi Note 10. It’s a dual-SIM device that supports 802.11ac WiFi, NFC and has support for a variety of 4G LTE bands including 850MHz.
The same device had also passed certification in Singapore last month as illustrated below:
So far we have not heard any launch details yet for Malaysia but based on this certification, we think that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 local launch could be happening very soon. There’s a possibility that the device could go on sale before Christmas.
To recap, the CC9 Pro is a premium-looking device featuring a 6.47″ Full HD+ dual-curved AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 730G processor. The device is offered with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM with internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
The key highlight is its penta-camera setup at the rear. It features a high-resolution 108MP main camera, a 5MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, a 12MP Portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a dedicated 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the device comes with a 32MP front camera that sits on a tiny notch.
Powering the device is a huge 5,260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging via USB-C. A full charge can be completed in just 65-minutes on the cable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with wireless charging.
When it comes to Malaysia, we reckon that it’s going to be priced above RM2,000. The last Mi Note to be sold here officially was the Mi Note 2 and it was priced at RM2,499. In China, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro is priced from CNY 2,799 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and it goes all the way up to CNY 3,499 (about RM2,068) for the premium version with 8GB RAM + 256GB of storage.
