Samsung users are still awaiting the official release of the Android 10 update, with the beta program available for users in certain regions. Of course, Samsung’s big updates are usually rolled out a little later because of the skin, or UI, that’s layered on top of Android: One UI.
Samsung recently posted a video that showcases some of the features that will be coming with the official release of One UI 2, which could be rolling out officially by the end of this year. Some things to look forward to include a smaller pop-up notifications that will provide “less distractions”, moving icons, and even an option to amplify your ambient sound to provide “hearing assistance”.
Essentially, the UX looks like it’s been tweaked to declutter the One UI interface, along with an updated dark mode that provides support for more native apps and elements of the UI. There will also be a high contrast keyboard, which will supposedly help with visibility.

At the moment, the beta is only available to participants in China, France, Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, Spain, UK, and USA. We don’t have an exact date for the full release of One UI 2, but expect it to be available by the end of 2019.
