The Oppo Reno 2 is officially priced at RM2,299 but you can own it easier on the Digi PhoneFreedom 365 instalment plan. On Digi’s Postpaid Family offering, you can get three devices for only RM204/month. Alternatively, you can get it for as little as RM28/month for a single unit.
Digi Postpaid family allows you to add supplementary lines at RM38/month per line. Instead of sharing quota, each member will get to enjoy the same amount of mobile data as well as unlimited calls as the principal line. The Digi Postpaid Family offering for the Oppo Reno 2 is applicable when you sign up for Postpaid 120 plan and above.
On the highest Postpaid 190, the Reno 2 will cost you RM28/month for the principal line and RM176/month (RM88 each) for the two extra supplementary lines. In total, you’ll be paying RM204/month for the device and RM231/month for the postpaid service. As usual, the devices on instalment are tied with a 24-month contract.
If you’re just getting the Oppo Reno 2 for yourself, you can et the device for RM158/month all-in (excluding tax). On the lowest commitment plan, the Reno 2 is going for RM68/month on Digi Freedom 365 instalment program when you sign up for Digi Postpaid 80 + GBoost (RM10/month extra).
If you need more data, the Reno 2 is offered for RM28/month on the highest Postpaid 190 plan. The instalment plan is also tied with a 24-month contract.
To recap, the Oppo Reno 2 is a premium mid-range smartphone that comes with a quad-camera setup. It features a 6.5″ Full HD+ AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 730G processor. The device packs 8GB RAM + 256GB of storage which is expandable via microSD.
For taking pictures, it has a 48MP f/1.7 main camera, a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera along with a 2MP mono lens for portrait mode. If you need to take a selfie, the Reno 2 comes with an iconic shark-fin pop-up camera that has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 via USB-C.
