You can get the Realme 5 for RM499 on 11.11

During the launch of the 64MP capable Realme XT, Realme Malaysia has announced a cheaper variant of the Realme 5. If the RM599 price tag for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is out of your budget, there’s now a lower-spec model with 32GB of storage.

The Realme 5 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model is officially introduced for RM549. If you’re looking for a better deal, they are offering it for only RM499 on Lazada during its first-day sale in conjunction with 11.11. For the price, this appears to be a better buy than the Redmi 8 which comes with a dual-camera setup and it runs on a lower Snapdragon 439 processor.

The rest of the specs remains unchanged and it gets a 6.5″ HD+ display and it runs on a Snapdragon 665 AIE processor. At the rear, you’ll find a quad-camera setup that consists of a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it has a 13MP front camera that’s housed on the tiny notch.

Despite being a budget device, it still packs a huge 5,000mAh battery that charges via microUSB. Out of the box, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 skin on top. To learn more, you can check out our unboxing and hands-on video of the Realme 5 below:
