The Honor Band 5 Sport edition is set to arrive in Malaysia, with the affordable fitness tracker available from the 11th of November 2019 at a price of RM79. Honor says that the band of the tracker is made from recycled plastic waste, while the wrist strap’s “dynamic braided technology” works towards a lightweight form-factor that can be worn on the ankle or wrist.

There are also exercise-centric features including Basketball Mode, Workout Form Guidance, and a Professional Running Guide; you can take the tracker swimming, too, with a 50m water resistance rating. As for battery life, Honor promises up to 14 days of standby usage, or up to 40 hours of continuous performance tracking on a single charge.

In addition to that, the fitness tracker can also be paired to an smartphone to view notifications, messages, and calls. You can view your step count, distance traveled, calories burnt, and other workout options such as setting goals. Interestingly, you can wear the Honor Band 5 Sport on your wrist or your shoe, and Honor claims that the 6-Axis Motion Tracking Sensor allows for 97% accuracy for measuring running stats when the band is attached to your shoe.

The Honor Band 5 Sport edition will be available for pre-sale from the 28th of October till the 10th of November at a discounted price of RM69, exclusively on Lazada. Pre-sale customers will be required to pay an upfront deposit of RM11, with the remainder to be paid on the 11th of November. As for colour options, you can choose between Glacier Grey and Sakura Pink.
