Pokemon fans, Razer’s new Pikachu-themed accessories are for you

Razer and The Pokemon Company are teaming up to release a set of Pokemon-themed gaming peripherals—all in bright yellow, and all featuring Pikachu, one of the most iconic Pokemon of ’em all.

Basically, the Pikachu-themed mouse is Razer’s Deathadder Essential which features a predominantly yellow (of course) colour scheme, with red accents at the buttons on the side of the mouse and the scroll wheel. Where the Razer logo usually sits, there’s now a lightning bolt in the shape of Pikachu’s tail.

If you buy the mouse, you’ll also receive a Razer Goliathus mousepad—you can’t buy the mousepad individually. The huge Pikachu plastered across the mousepad lacks a little subtlety, if you ask me, but it will still appeal to hardcore fans of the franchise.

And you also get a Razer Ornata keyboard, which looks the best of the lot (in my opinion). Black keys sit atop a yellow base, with little Pikachu animations in place of the usual directional keys. You don’t get RGB lit keys with this version of the Ornata, however.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Razer’s Pikachu accessories are available in Malaysia, or anywhere outside China for that matter. The keyboard is available in China for CNY699 (about RM413) and the mouse and mousepad combo is available for CNY399 (about RM236).
