RedOne Data28 offers 22GB worth of social and video data for RM28/month

For casual users that want more data for video and social media, RedOne has introduced its Data28 postpaid plan that offers 22GB worth of data for RM28/month. Also included is unlimited free calls among RedOne postpaid users.

The plan costs RM28/month and it is bundled with 10GB of RedVideo data for video streaming and 10GB of RedSocial for social media applications. For everything else, the plan also gets 2GB of high-speed 4G LTE data.

According to the FAQ, the 10GB RedVideo data can be utilised at any time and it covers popular streaming platforms such as YouTube, iflix, AstroGo, DimSum, Tonton, Viu, ErosNow and Netflix. Meanwhile, RedSocial provides 10GB of data for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and WeChat.

RedOne didn’t mention any speed caps and their FAQ states that the RedVideo and RedSocial data is offered at high-speed on 4G LTE. Users can check their RedVideo and RedSocial data quota by dialling *123# or you can check via the 1App.

As mentioned earlier, calls to RedOne postpaid numbers are free but if you do make calls to other numbers, it will cost you RM0.15 per minute. If you intend to send SMS, it is 5 sen per message for RedOne numbers and 10 sen to other networks.
