The Oppo Reno 2 series has officially arrived in Malaysia. This is a quad-camera premium mid-range smartphone that boasts an ultra-steady video recording and it can push up to 20X zoom.
The Oppo Reno 2 is officially priced at RM2,299. You can pre-order from 16th to 25th October 2019 and they are giving additional freebies worth RM318. It consists of a screen protection warranty worth RM119 and an exclusive Reno bag worth RM199.
The device will be available officially on 26th October onwards at Oppo official dealer stores, e-commerce platforms as well as telco partners such as Celcom, Digi and Maxis. It’s offered in two colours – Luminous Black and Sunset Pink.
The Reno 2 features a 6.5″ AMOLED display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 730G processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card.
For imaging, it features a 48MP f/1.7 main camera that uses Sony’s IMX586 sensor with optical image stabilisation. Also included is a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera that can do 2X optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20X in digital zoom. For greater versatility, there’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera as well as a 2MP mono lens for portrait mode.
One of its key highlights is its ultra steady video capability that uses a combination of OIS and EIS. Similar to the original Oppo Reno, it also features a “shark-fin” pop-up camera that has a 16MP selfie camera. Also retained is a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is powered by a large 4,000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 skin on top.
