Deal: 10.5″ iPad Pro WiFi 256GB going for RM1,999

[ UPDATE 10/10/2019 09:15 ] Only the gold colour variant is in stock and the price has been reduced further to RM1,899.

If you’re looking for a new iPad, here’s an interesting offer for the 2nd generation iPad Pro. The 10.5″ model with 256GB of storage can be yours for less than RM2,000 and it’s more affordable than the latest iPad Air 2019.

On the official Apple store on LazMall, the iPad Pro 10.5″ WiFi 256GB model is listed for RM1,999 and this is only for the silver, rose gold and gold colour variant. If you pick the grey version, it’s going for RM3,499.

As a comparison, the latest iPad Air 10.5″ is priced from RM2,199 and this is for the WiFi 64GB storage model. The device comes with 1-year local manufacturer warranty and it is also covered by Lazada’s 15 days return policy.

The 2nd iPad Pro is still a capable workhorse. It has a 10.5″ screen with 120Hz ProMotion technology and it runs on a powerful Apple A10X Fusion chip. It also supports the first-gen Apple Pencil as well as the 10.5″ Smart Keyboard. For multimedia consumption, the iPad Pro is better than the latest Air as it comes with a quad-speaker setup. Unlike the latest 3rd gen iPad Pro, it still retains Touch ID and home button as well as a lightning connector.
