The Huawei “No worries” and Honor “Rileks, Beli Je!” campaigns have been extended until 31st December 2019. With this promotion, if you purchase an eligible smartphone in Malaysia between 1st October to 31st December, you can enjoy 1 year extra extended warranty upon the expiry of the original warranty period. This gives you a total of 2 years worth of protection.

Huawei

For Huawei, the extended warranty plan is offered only for the Huawei P30 series, Mate 20 series as well as the Nova 5T. This can be redeemed from the HiCare app that’s pre-installed with the device. You can learn more about the extended warranty offer here.

To recap, the Huawei P30 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) is priced at RM2,299 while the P30 Pro (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) is going for RM3,399. Last year’s Mate 20 (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) is listed at RM2,099, while the Mate 20X and 20 Pro (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) are going for RM2,599. The latest Nova 5T (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) which was launched last month is priced at RM1,599.

Honor

If you’re planning to get an Honor device, the 1+1 year extended warranty offer is now only applicable to the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. According to Honor, you must redeem the extended warranty from the HiCare app within 7 days of the purchase. According to Honor, the plan provides extensive protection against repair costs with Honor official maintenance standards and 100% original spare parts.

The Honor 20 (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) is priced at RM1,699 while the Honor 20 Pro (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) is going for RM2,299.
