Stranger Things confirmed to get a season 4

OK, to be fair, none of us were expecting the wildly popular series Stranger Things to not get a season four. But, then again, I wasn’t expecting Netflix‘s Daredevil to get axed too so I guess a little confirmation is always nice.

In any case, Netflix has just confirmed the fourth season of Stranger Things with a 45-second video clip posted to the official Stranger Things YouTube channel. It doesn’t reveal that much but it does end with the line “We’re not in Hawkins anymore”.

Mashable also reports that Netflix has signed a multi-year film deal with series creators Matt and Ross Duffer so that they can bring their storytelling talents to projects outside of the hit series.

The unfortunate thing about this Stranger Things announcement was that it didn’t reveal an official launch date so we’ll just have to wait and see on that front. That being said, I’m pretty psyched because I’ve been a little behind on my season three binge and this is as good of a push as any to get me to finish it (OK no spoilers in the comments please).
