Microsoft’s latest devices for their acclaimed Surface series is set to be unveiled tomorrow, but if you’re looking for a first look at the new devices, some images have been leaked by a notable source. Evan Blass, or @evleaks on Twitter, has posted pictures of the new devices: the Surface Pro 7, and the 13″ and 15″ Surface Laptop 3.
Blass, who is pretty well-known for his reliable leaks in the past, also teased a dual-screen Surface, although there weren’t images of the device in his post. However, his statement—“Not pictured here: dual-screen Surface”—could be a sign that an image is about to come. That, or you can just wait till Wednesday, in any case.
From the images, it looks like the new Surface Pro 7 will come with a USB-C port, while the ARM CPU-powered 2-in-1 Surface looks like Microsoft could be taking a stab at the iPad market. Thin bezels, and a slim(-mer than the Surface Pro 7) profile, and all in the iconic look that the Surface 2-in-1 series has popularised over recent times.
There’re also images of the upcoming Surface Laptop 3, with Microsoft appearing to ditch the fuzzy “Alcantara” fabric for nice, metal, monochromatic look. It doesn’t look particularly revolutionary per se, but the images don’t show the other side of the laptop, we aren’t sure on the number of ports and so on.
As for internals, the Surface Laptop 3 could reportedly be offered in 6 or more configurations, with choices between AMD and Intel CPUs—potentially 9th or 10th Generation Intel Core chips.
