Digi offers lifetime rebate for senior citizens

After introducing a dedicated postpaid plan and a RM10 rebate for persons with disabilities (PWDs), Digi has announced a similar lifetime privilege for senior citizens. All registered Digi postpaid customers aged 60 years and above can enjoy a RM10 rebate on Digi’s postpaid plans that start from RM28/month for 6GB of data.

According to Digi, this initiative is part of Digi’s Yellow Heart commitment to empowering more Malaysians with easy connectivity to what matters most. Starting today, eligible customers will receive a notification via the MyDigi app to activate the RM10 rebate offer. This can be redeemed via the “Box of Surprise” section on the MyDigi app. Once redeemed, the rebate will be reflected automatically in the subsequent month’s bill. The yellow telco also added that this lifetime rebate will be sent to other Digi customers as they reach the age requirement of 60 years old.

Digi has carried a number of outreach initiatives under its Yellow Heart programme over the years to help more Malaysians develop digital competencies and learn how to keep safe on the internet. Apart from introducing a rebate on postpaid subscriptions, Digi has also taken steps to ensure priority customer service in its stores for persons with disabilities (PWDs), seniors and pregnant women. These express lanes and personalised support are available in all 30 Digi Stores nationwide.
