Nokia 2720 Flip with Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Assistant has arrived in Malaysia

Nokia’s latest throwback device has finally arrived in Malaysia. The Nokia 2720 Flip is a basic flip phone that supports 4G with VoLTE and it even comes with Google Assistant.

The Nokia 2720 Flip is now available only in Black and it is priced at RM359. To recap, it has a 2.8″ QVGA display on the inside, while the cover comes with a basic 1.3″ 240×240 display. Powering the flip device is a Qualcomm 205 Mobile platform with 512MB of RAM and it runs on KaiOS. It has 4GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.

Although this is seen as a feature-phone, you can run Facebook, WhatsApp and there’s even a dedicated “SOS” button on the side which can be programmed to summon Google Assistant. If you need to share your connectivity, you can even use the device is a 4G WiFi hotspot. It also gets Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi 802.11b/g/n support.

Keeping the lights on is a removable 1,500mAh battery which is rated to last up to 27 days on a single charge. It charges via a microUSB port and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. According to Nokia, the Nokia 2720 Flip is not only an ideal companion for those looking for a digital detox but it can be the perfect phone for keeping your loved ones with accessibility needs connected.
