Yes, the rumours are true. The OnePlus 7T series will launch in India and North America on September the 26th, with a European release to follow in October 10. Barely 4 months after the release of the OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, with a possible Snapdragon 855+ SoC and other incremental upgrades, is set to make its global debut in less than 2 weeks.
OnePlus has also posted a teaser video on YouTube as well as Twitter, although it doesn’t say much other than: “Never waver. Always focused. Never compromise. Always considered. Never tire. Coming soon.” And of course, “Never settle”.
There isn’t much in way of information that can be garnered from the video, other than some really dark flashes of the the device itself. But from the rumours thus far, we are expecting the OnePlus 7T to have a large circular camera bump that houses a triple-camera setup along with some triangular lines to separate each lens. For the higher-spec OnePlus 7T Pro, it could retain the exact same design as the current OnePlus 7 Pro.
We could also see a return of the McLaren Edition for the OnePlus 7T Pro, which would certainly be a welcome sight. Leakster OnLeaks has said in the past that OnePlus are allegedly working on a OnePlus 7T McLaren “Senna” edition smartphone. As for other differences between the OnePlus 7T and the 7T Pro, it would likely be a slightly bigger display for the 7T Pro.
