Ahead of the Huawei Mate 30 series announcement, serial leakster @evleaks has dropped more images of the upcoming quad-camera flagship smartphone. This time we get to see the full colour options for both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.
As shown below, the upcoming devices will come in four colour options, namely Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, Black, and Emerald Green. The duo also gets a quad-camera array that’s housed in a circular camera module that comes with a thick reflective ring.
From what we’ve seen so far, the Mate 30 will come with a flat display that has a medium sized notch. Meanwhile, the more premium Mate 30 Pro will be getting a dual-curved display that has a wide notch to house additional sensors.
In terms of specs, the Mate 30 duo will be running on the latest Kirin 990 processor and there will be a variant that comes with 5G support. For photography, Huawei is expected to step up their game with two 40MP sensors for main and ultra-wide angle. In addition, it is also rumoured that Huawei will introduce a higher fast charging tech for both wired and wireless.
The Huawei Mate 30 series is launching this Thursday, 19 September 2019 in Munich. If the rollout plan is similar to the past few launches, pre-orders for Malaysia could start shortly after the event and it could be available by end of this month. However, there are still a number of uncertainties such as the operating system used and whether consumers can continue to use their existing favourite Android apps that’s distributed on the Google PlayStore. Stay tuned to find out more.
